A little fun in the sun...(St. Pete Beach photography)

I met Laura and her family last year while taking their families photo's. Every year as a child Laura would come down to St. Pete Beach and spend vacation time with her family. Now that she has a family of her own, she has carried on the tradition. We kept in touch over the year and when they came back this year I was blessed they asked me to do another session. They really were troopers. Fifteen minutes into the session the sky's turned dark and we had severe wind. I don't mean a breeze but literally hurricane force gusts. We were forced to go back to the car as we watched the sand blow around. Then just like that the sun was shining through the clouds and we resumed our session. Poor Laura was a trooper as she was down for the count with a cold. We were able to get some shots in before Laura's adorable daughter Leah decided to take one to many steps forward and ultimately fell into the water, getting her dress wet! Everything looked fine, but to a four year old it was the worst thing ever to have her dress wet. I definitely was able to capture different memories, but I am sure we are hoping for a less intensive session next year :)
