Matt + Dara are married (St. Petersburg wedding photography)

I know I have been lacking on blog posts lately, but that is because a lot of good things have been happening behind the scenes! I shot Dara's wedding in December and it was such a fun night. Her family and friends really know how to celebrate. There were a few touching moments to me that were very special. One being that the rabi let me shoot them signing the Ketubah, which is a rare occurrence since it is a very spiritual moment. The bride and her maid of honor have been friends for about 20 years. They both grew up together in New Jersey, and when they moved away both sets of parents would meet half way, so the girls could continue their friendship. As time went on, they both ended up in Florida, and now live in the Tampa Bay area together! I just thought that was awesome, how through time and so much, they still remained close friends. The dancing and celebration was the best part of the wedding...their family and friends were a blast. Matt (the groom)was adorable as he would dance with his daughter and all his nieces, and swing them around like little princess's. A great time for all. Enjoy some of the images, from their day!
